The only unexpected contender on the e-commerce battlefield was Etsy with 10% of all e-commerce marketing activities, being more popular than Walmart (6%) and Target (5%). Shopify (23%) is a strong second behind Amazon (27%) — which leaves us wondering if and when they are going to launch their own space program.

It is what it is. If you’re using something to monitor your web traffic, there’s a high chance it’s Google Analytics. If you’re not anxious about its interface, endless drill-downs, and CSV exports, then we completely understand why GA is your platform of choice.
